Kétnapos programsorozattal ünnepli októberben a világ egyik legismertebb repülőgépét a Légiközlekedési Kulturális Központ. 50 évvel ezelőtt emelkedett először a magasba a Tu-154-es, a Malév pedig 45 évvel ezelőtt vette át az első „nagyvasat”. A többi között különleges reptérlátogatásokkal, fotóstúrákkal, nosztalgiarepüléssel, izgalmas beszélgetésekkel, gépmustrával készül október 27-re és 28-ra az Aeropark.

We at Aviation Cultural Centre (Aeropark Budapest) plan to celebrate two anniversaries connected to one of the best known airliners of the world in October. The type Tu-154 made its maiden flight 50 years ago, and it was 45 years ago that the first airplane of the type joined MALÉV Hungarian Airline’s fleet in Budapest. Our plans for the festivities include exciting ramp tours, photo opportunities, historic pleasure flights, themed panel discussions and aircraft visits on October 27 and 28 at Aeropark and Budapest Liszt Ferenc Airport.

On Saturday we plan to organize two photo opportunities to present the newly repainted HA-LCA to the enthusiast community: in the morning we provide you with the opportunity to shoot LCA at Terminal 2, whereas in the afternoon we take you airside to offer the plane, surrounded with contemporary ground service equipment on the apron of the historic Terminal 1. | Délelőtt az Aeroparkban is a Tu-154-es lesz a főszereplő: interaktív beszélgetésekkel, előadásokkal várjuk az érdeklődőket a HA-LCG fedélzetén. Milyen volt a Malév a jetkorszak kezdetén? Miért volt a keleti blokk csodája a Tu-154-es? Milyen kormányjáratokat teljesítettek a típussal? Miért rajongott a Tu-154-esért a legnagyobb magyar aviatikus, Dr. Fülöp András? During the morning hours we will showcase the Tu-154 at Aeropark Aviation Museum, too: we offer interactive panel discussions and presentations on board of HA-LCG, the Tu-154 at the Museum. Topics will include „MALÉV at the beginning of the jet era”, „Why the TU5 became the wonder of the East Blok?” „What were the most interesting VVIP flights of the type?” „The TU5, as the favourite type of Dr András Fülöp, the greatest of Hungarian aviators” – these and many other topics will be discussed in the morning with the active participation of pilots and stewardesses serving on the type for decades. |

You can also participate in a special time travel: on both days we will offer pleasure flights on board of the only airworthy Li-2 in the world. This is the legally made Soviet copy of the DC-3, operated by the Goldtimer Foundation, and we will take you to the plane in our fantastic, rear engine Ikarus 55, contemporary to both the Terminal and the airplane. Also on the Sunday, „Tu-154 Memorial” ramp tours will depart from Aeropark. Bypassing LCA, guest speakers will tell you about the period of MALÉV when the TU5 was workhorse of the airline and they outnumbered any other aircraft type at the apron of Terminal 1. We will talk about the route network of the 70s and 80s, we will remember the furthest and most unique destinations, and mention world famous celebrities as guests in the VIP Lounge at Terminal 1. |
